Lisa Allen

Lisa Jean Allen, 63, of Cambridge, lost her battle to ovarian cancer on Monday, September 11, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born on November 26, 1959, in Cambridge, the daughter of Stanley Vigus and the late Ramona (Costello) Vigus.

Lisa was a 1978 graduate of Cambridge High School and worked at General Electric for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, shopping, doing her nails, purses and jewelry, keeping up with the news, and loved to drink tea. Lisa loved Gone with the Wind, Phantom of the Opera, and watching Murder She Wrote. Lisa was an OSU Buckeyes football fan and enjoyed gardening.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Steve Allen, whom she married on June 11, 1982, her father, Stanley (Teena) Vigus, three daughters, Katie (Mitch Howell) Archibald of Cambridge, Bonnie Allen of Cambridge, and Stephanie (Keith) Rogers of Senecaville, and her nine grandchildren, Ian, Logan, Jack, Andrew, Kensley, Madilynn, Natalie, Harper, and Elizabeth.

Private services will be held.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the Hospice of Guernsey and the James Cancer Center.
