Lisa Marie Ashby

Lisa Marie Ashby, 55, of Salesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at her home.

Lisa was born on September 28, 1970, in Cambridge, a daughter to William “Bill” and Moska (Toundas) Blattner.

Lisa was a 1988 graduate of Cambridge High School. She loved watching all her children play sports; you could find her on a ball field every weekend cheering them on. Lisa loved the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes and had a love for cruising. She loved all of her dogs, and we are sure they are waiting for her hugs and kisses.

Lisa is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Betty Blattner, maternal grandparents, James and Delores Toundas, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Carol Ashby.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Terry Ashby of Salesville, three children, Austin Ashby of Ashland, Brady Ashby of Louisiana, and Eleni (Ella) Ashby of the home. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Carder Ashby of Ashland, her sister, Sherry (Dan) Savage of Salesville, her nephew, Daniel (Stacy) Savage of New Concord, her niece, Megan (Ryan) Deutschman of Cambridge, four great nieces, Grace Savage, Rylee Savage, Amelia Deutschman and Emily Deutschman, and her beloved dogs, Jules who was always by her side.

You could never find a better daughter, mother, wife, gigi, aunt or sister. She loved everyone with her whole heart.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 5PM-8PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City with funeral services the following day, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 11AM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City with Pastor Evan Greathouse officiating. Burial will follow at Salesville Cemetery.
