Lisa Lafferty, 48, of Byesville passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on February 16,2022, with her son, her mother and her sister by her side. Lisa was born on August 21, 1973, in Zanesville.
Lisa was a John Glenn graduate of 1991 and attended Mideast Vocational School. Lisa was an LPN for 14 years but had to retire her duties due to complications from having Multiple Sclerosis. She loved taking care of her patients and hated it when she couldn't do it anymore.
Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Stanley and Eileen King; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Opal Lafferty; her infant brother Douglas James Lafferty; and her best friend, her dog Gyspy.
Lisa is survived by her son, Quentin Phillips; her mother Linda King; her father and stepmother Jim and Kim Lafferty; her sister April Lafferty; and her half-sister Krystal Barbour. She also leaves behind to mourn her passing several aunts, uncles and cousins: and her beloved niece and nephew Daisy and Seth.
There will be a memorial service for Lisa at Christ United Methodist, 2167 North Avenue, Cambridge, on Monday February 21, 2022, at 3:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Wib Bragg and Pastor Steve Smith.
Family and Friends are welcome, but due to COVID- 19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
