Lowell Arthur Fowler

August 18, 1934 — January 25, 2022

Lowell Arthur Fowler, 87, of Naples, Florida passed peacefully from this life on January 25, 2022.

He was born August 18, 1934, on the family farm in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Leslie John and Olive Irene (Layman) Fowler. Lowell graduated Barnesville High School in 1952 and went on to attend Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1956. Prior to moving to Naples, Florida in 1988, where he worked 25+ years at the Naples Ritz Carlton Hotel, Lowell resided in Ashland, Ohio working for Hess & Clark and then moved to St. Joseph, Missouri where he worked for Rhone-Poulenc.

Lowell shared his love of nature by traveling to over 30 National Parks with his family.  "I want my children to grow up surrounded by the wonders of nature and the great outdoors as I did."

Lowell is survived by daughters Julie (Ron) Holcomb and Lori Meyer; granddaughters Amanda (Kevin) Aguirre, Megan Meyer, Emily Holcomb, and Madison Meyer; great-granddaughter Olivia Aguirre; brother Ken Fowler; two nephews & three nieces; and former spouse Dorothy Cargill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Olive Fowler, brother David Keith Fowler, and Sister-in-Law, Marge Fowler.

A memorial service will be held at Quaker City United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 23rd at 10am.  Burial will be in Friends Cemetery.
