Lucia A. Lacey, 55, of Cambridge, died Saturday (November 20, 2021) at her home.
She was born March 1, 1966 in Mamaroneck NY, daughter of the late Michael Savone and Myrene (Collins) Savone.
Ms. Lacey was a clerical worker with Rustic Acres Nursing Home for many years.
She enjoyed writing and calligraphy. She also enjoyed watching Lifetime movies and following politics. Above all else, she especially loved being with her family and cooking Italian meals from scratch.
She was always very proud of her McCoy family heritage from Kentucky on her mother's side and her Italian roots on her father's side in New York.
Ms. Lacey was a Jehovah's Witness.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Savone.
She is survived by a son, Brandon Lacey of Cambridge; a daughter, Amanda (Kelly) Lacey of Zanesville; a sister, Rachel Savone of Cambridge; and a nephew, Davon Savone.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (November 30, 2021) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Home (139 S 9th St, Cambridge OH 43725) to help with funeral expenses.
