M. Anne Billet

M. Anne Billet, 78, of New Concord, died Saturday (October 23, 2010) at Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. She was born January 21, 1932 in Akron, daughter of the late Hays L. Offutt and Icy (Sears) Offutt. Ms. Billet worked as an assembly line worker at Champion Spark Plug for thirty-one years. She enjoyed sewing and made many lap blankets & bibs which she donated to local nursing homes. She also enjoyed painting. Ms. Billet had several articles published in the Jeffersonian throughout the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by a brother, Ray Offutt. She is survived by a son, Tim (& Becky) Miller of Alamogordo NM; a daughter, Patricia (& Jesse) Sorrell of New Concord; a brother, Frank (& Barbara) Offutt of Alamogordo NM; three sisters, Hazel Wallace of Vequita NM, Ilene (& Zeke) Harris of Massillon, and Helen (& Tom) Fisher of Cambridge; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
