Malinda Albaugh, 66, of Cambridge, died Sunday (October 9, 2011) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born August 22, 1945 in Barnesville, daughter of the late Herbert Edward Bunfill and Leah Burnetta (Gleaves) Bunfill. Mrs. Albaugh was a homemaker. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Albaugh, who died January 1, 1998. They were married September 22, 1963. Also deceased is a son, Dean Albaugh; and a sister, Claudette Benson. She is survived by two sons, Keith (& Christine) Albaugh of Cambridge and James D. Albaugh of Akron; six grandchildren, Angel Dimcneal, Kayla Albaugh, Michael Albaugh, Michele Albaugh, Cami Albaugh, and Devin Alfman; and three great-grandchildren, Alyza Albaugh, Jasmyne Dimcneal, and Alexis Dimcneal. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Thursday (October 13, 2011) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Fred Barrett officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Homes, Inc.
