Margaret E. Martin

Margaret E. Martin, 94, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (December 1, 2015) at the Beckett House at New Concord. She was born February 24, 1921 in Cambridge, daughter of the late George Martin and Elizabeth (Dubinksy) Martin. Miss Martin worked as a clerk at the former Bargain City and had also worked at RCA. She was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed travelling and had travelled to several different countries throughout her lifetime. Miss Martin was a member of the East Union Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Martin and George Martin; and two sisters, Mary Ann Larson and Mabel McLaren. She is survived by a brother, Joseph C. Martin of Cambridge; and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday (December 5, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Jack officiating. Burial will be at East Union Presbyterian Cemetery.
