Margaret Louise Richards

**SERVICE UPDATE:  Graveside services will be held at Greenmount Union Cemetery, Freeport, on Thursday (June 24, 2021) at 12:30 p.m. for Margaret Louise Richards, who died May 31, 2021.  Father Paul Hrezo will officiate.**

Margaret Louise Richards, 88, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (May 31, 2021) at SEORMC.

She was born March 27, 1933 in Harrison County, daughter of the late Howard Golden and Louise (Goebel) Golden.

Mrs. Richards had worked at West End Laundry of Cleveland and later worked in the kitchen at the former Elby's Restaurant of Cambridge.

She was a life member of Moose Lodge # 631 and VFW post #2901 Auxiliary.  She loved dancing, reading, and working puzzles (especially crosswords).

She was a 1953 graduate of West High School in Cleveland, and was Catholic by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Richards, who passed away in 1999; a daughter Christina Johns.

She is survived by one daughter, Jeannette Early of Cambridge; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

No visitation will be observed.  Graveside services and burial will be scheduled at a later date in Greenmount Cemetery, Freeport.
