Marian Janice (Frame) Watson, 84, of Salesville, passed away Friday (April 13, 2012) at the Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 20, 1927 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Noel W. Frame and Lucile (Linn) Frame. Mrs. Watson was a graduate of Lore City High School and attended Columbus Business College. She was employed by Ohio National Bank of Columbus for ten years. She married John Herbert Watson on August 30, 1958. Together they owned and operated the former Leatherwood Valley Egg Farms. Mrs. Watson was a member of the Quaker City United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a former 4-H advisor for the Sunshine Valley Girls. She enjoyed sewing, reading recipe books, and researching her genealogy. She is survived by her husband, John Herbert Watson; three children, Patricia (& Randy) Nichols of Quaker City, Joy (& David) Bodner of Salesville, and Mark (& Mary) Watson of Salesville; eight grandchildren, Sarah Nichols, Eric Nichols, Josh Bodner, Alissa Bodner, Robin Bodner, Julie Watson, Elizabeth Watson, and Ethan Watson; three step-grandchildren, Casey Frame, Courtney Frame, and Conner Frame; a brother, Howard Frame of Cambridge; and two nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday (April 17, 2012) at 1 p.m. with Rev. Matt Wilson and Rev. Carol Touville officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
