Marianne L. Boerger

Marianne L. Boerger, 79, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (January 26, 2016) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 25, 1937 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Fredrick Gordon and Ruth (Rutter) Gordon. Ms. Boerger had worked as a server at Cracker Barrel for twenty years. She was Lutheran by faith. She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She loved playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robbie; and a sister, Shirley. She is survived by two sons, David Chitwood of Colorado and Daniel Chitwood of Ohio; a daughter, Diana Clary of Byesville; two brothers; four grandchildren, Tobias, Elijah, Purity, and Crystal; and eleven great-grandchildren, Aliza, Cyrus, Isaac, Brittany, Alexis, Julianna, Dylan, Haley, Hannah, Tyler, and Rylie. No calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
