Marie "June" Chiesa, 74, of Lore City, died Friday (December 20, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born April 30, 1939 in Senecaville, daughter of the late Albert Roscoe McCune and Lura (Thompson) McCune. Mrs. Chiesa worked for thirty years as an assembler at Champion Spark Plug. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 386 and Kipling VFW Auxiliary Post 7371. She was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and canvas craft work. She also liked working in her yard. She would do anything for any family member at any time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack A. Chiesa Sr., who died June 30, 2001. They were married December 9, 1983. Also deceased are her brothers, Jack, Raymond, Jim, and Herman Lee; an infant sister, Wilma Irene; and a grandson, Steve Huhn. She is survived by a son, Tim (& Missy) Huhn of Byesville; a daughter, Teresa (& David) Thurston of Quaker City; a brother, Charles (& Sue) McCune of Cambridge; four sisters, Mary Belle (& Don) Voorhies of Old Washington, Bessie (& Fred) Barrett of Cambridge, Mae (& William) Dennison of Kimbolton, and Linda (& Wibby) Bragg of Senecaville; two grandchildren, Trista Thurston and T'anna Thurston; and two great-grandchildren, McKayla Huhn and Marcus Huhn. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Monday (December 23, 2013) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sturman Moore officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
