Marie C. Ramshaw

Marie C. Ramshaw, 91, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 2, 2009) at the Cardinal House, Cambridge. She was born May 12, 1918 in St. Marys OH, daughter of the late Raymond Copeland and Martha (Kellemeyer) Copeland. Marie married Robert Ramshaw in 1962. She was a graduate of St. Marys High School and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Nursing. Marie was a registered nurse and had worked at Rocky Mountain Arsenal as a chief nurse. She retired in 1980. She was an avid sportswoman who loved to play golf and bowl. She also enjoyed fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who died in 1980. She is survived by two step-sons, John (& Bonnie) Ramshaw of Cambridge and Michael (& Susie) Wilson of Atlanta GA; four step-grandchildren, Joel Ramshaw, Joshua Ramshaw, Jonathan Wilson and Ashley Wilson; three step-great-grandchildren, Kacie Ramshaw, Jonah Wilson and Jaret Wilson; a cousin, Richard Bushong of Phoenix AZ; a niece, Margaret Larkin; and three nephews, John Larkin, Tom Larkin and Bill Larkin. No calling hours will be observed. Family services will be held at the Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, at a later date.
