Marie Stavros

Marie Stavros, 86, of Kimbolton, died Friday (February 17, 2012) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 1, 1925 in Agios Epstrtios, Greece. She was the daughter of the late Michael D. Kalmoutis and Despina (Georgoudakis) Kalmoutis. Mrs. Stavros had worked as a secretary at Hoffman Fuel in Stanford CT for many years. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Bridgeport CT. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Stavros, who died in 2008; a sister, Stella Williams; and a nephew, Ronnie Williams. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Grabowski of Royal Palm Beach FL; a grandson, Stephen Grabowski of Stanford CT; two nieces, Linda (& Jerry) Plaster of Kimbolton and Barbara Garitson of Cambridge; four great-nieces & great-nephews, Caitlin Williams of Kimbolton, Ronald Plaster of Philadelphia PA, Sam (& Kristan) Plaster of Kimbolton, and Jesse Plaster of Kimbolton; a great-great-nephew, Sam Plaster Jr. of Kimbolton; and a great-great-niece, Stella Plaster of Kimbolton. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
