Marjorie "Marge" E. Gibson

Marjorie E. "Marge" Gibson, 85, of Cambridge, died Saturday (April 9, 2011) at her residence. She was born April 19, 1925 at Indian Camp, daughter of the late Walter and Ruth (Mathers) Duff. Mrs. Gibson was a retired licensed practical nurse at the former Cambridge State Hospital. She attended Byesville Assembly of God Church and was a member of Homemakers of Indian Camp and a volunteer for Hospice of Guernsey. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dan and Jeff Gibson; a sister, Dorothy Warne and two brothers, Don and Ralph Duff. She leaves her husband, Samuel P. Gibson, whom she married Sept. 5, 1943; a son, Chuck (Marilyn) Gibson of Cambridge; a daughter, Judy Eibel of Cambridge; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Connie Gibson; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Duff and Vee Duff-Roberts. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Dan Milburn officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
