Marlene J. Zilka

Marlene J. Zilka, 64, of Cambridge, died Sunday (June 5, 2016) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 29, 1951 in Cambridge, daughter of Freda (Callahan) Bennett and the late Harold Bennett. Mrs. Zilka was a homemaker and she loved crafting. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, where she had been a former member of the church's choir. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Lee Zilka, who died November 11, 2014; and a son, Timothy Jacob Zilka. She is survived by her mother, Freda (Callahan) Bennett of Cambridge; three sons, Ben (& Kim) Zilka, Mark (& Pokey) Zilka, and Isaac Zilka all of Cambridge; a brother, John (& Carrie) Bennett of Cambridge; a sister, Darlene Ball of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Brandon, Leslie, and Chase; two great-grandchildren, Nadia and Eli; and several nieces & nephews. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. Burial will take place at Buffalo Cemetery, at a later date.
