Martha Danley

Martha Danley, 67, of Cambridge, died Friday (September 14, 2007) at her home. She was born on February 16, 1940 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Andrew Guy Black and Sarah Black. Mrs. Danley worked at NCR of Cambridge for twenty-two years. She also worked as an aide for several area nursing homes. Mrs. Danley was a graduate of Brown High School. She enjoyed playing bingo and working crossword puzzles. She cherished spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Lynn Danley Hickenbottom; two brothers; and a sister. She leaves her husband, Ronald Danley, whom she married on September 5, 1960; a son, Dwayne (& Joyce) Danley of Cambridge; two daughters, Dale (& Dave) Hickman of Cambridge and Sarah (& Cliff) Moore of Cambridge; a sister, Mary Bell of West Lafayette; nine grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews, including Carol Ross of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (September 19, 2007) from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Foursquare Gospel Church, Cambridge, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Cain officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hermon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
