Martha Edwards

Martha L. (Dunbar) Edwards, 89, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

Martha was born September 27, 1932, in Sewellsville, Ohio, a daughter to the late Marcellus and Clara (Trimmer) Dunbar.

Martha attended Bliss Business College in Columbus, Ohio, and worked as an Executive Secretary at AMG Vanadium and Meridian Plastics. She was well known for her skills at taking shorthand and transcribing it.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Edwards, who passed away December 1, 2000, a sister, Clara Mabel Dunbar, and her brother, Richard W. Dunbar.

She is survived by her daughter Martha "Ann" Edwards, her sister, Miram Hyde, and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was well liked by all that met and knew her. The family would like to thank the admissions team and the individuals who cared for Martha at the Morrison House.

There will be a graveside only service, Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11 AM at Zion Cemetery, with Tim Patton officiating.
