Martha E. Eynon

February 3, 1934 — November 3, 2007

Martha E. Eynon, 73, of Cambridge, died Saturday (November 3, 2007) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born on February 3, 1934 in Cambridge, daughter of the late John L. "Smiles" Morris and Burnetta (Blackstone) Morris Tickhill. Mrs. Eynon had worked at AT&T, WILE Radio and Auto Port (American Motors Corporation). She also sold Avon products for many years. Mrs. Eynon was a 1951 graduate of Cambridge High School. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a member of Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Eynon was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Morris. She leaves her husband, Percy "Ralph" Eynon of the home, whom she married on November 29, 1953; two sons, Jeff Eynon of Cambridge and Harry Eynon of Canton; a sister, Dolores (& Ronald) Williams of Cambridge; four grandchildren, Craig Eynon, Valerie Cohen, Angela Eynon and Vanessa Eynon; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Friday (November 9, 2007) at 1 p.m. with The Rev. R. Derrick Fetz officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
