Martha Marie Rataiczak

Martha Marie Rataiczak, 73, of Cambridge, passed away Friday (Sept. 14, 2007) at the home of her daughter in Cambridge. She was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Leesville, daughter of Sara Marie Decker Metcalf of Gnadenhutten and the late William Metcalf. Mrs. Rataiczak was an RN and retired from Barnesville Hospital in 1985. She was a graduate of Uhrichsville High School and Ruth Brandt School of Nursing in 1955. She attended the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, Kurt Rataiczak; a brother, Herb Metcalf; an infant sister, Linda Metcalf. She leaves two sons, Dana (Kim) Rataiczak of Old Washington and Andy (JoEllen) Rataiczak of Quaker City; a daughter, Lori Morris of Cambridge, and a son-in-law, Dale Morris of New York; a brother, William (Nancy) Metcalf of Mansfield; two sisters, Jennie (Danny) McCue of Dennison and Sandy Metcalf of Gnadenhutten;l3 grandchildren; a great grandchild; and special friend, Dick Powell. Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. today (Sunday) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will be 1p.m. Monday with minister Capt. Bob Sears officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
