Mary Lou Best Sullivan Woytko, 80, passed away October 13, 2010 at her home in Cambridge, surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 19, 1930 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Ernest and Marie (England) Best. Mary Lou was a proud member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and also a member of the Women's Club. She was a founding member of the Skeiner's Knitting Club. She was known to all as a kind and beautiful woman with a keen wit. No one who met Mary Lou could help but to love her. Joyfully welcoming her in Heaven are her parents; a sister, Violet Dickinson; her first husband, George Sullivan; and many more family & friends. Mary Lou leaves her husband of sixteen years, Stephen S. Woytko; four children, Theresa Sullivan Ford, David Sullivan, Pamela Sullivan Jira (Craig), and Connie Sullivan Beros (David); two step-children, Gary Woytko (Linda) and Gerianne Woytko Barnes (Dwight); six grandchildren, Chad Jira, Keith Jira, Carly Jira Warren (Joey), Troy Beros, Arianne Beros, and Emily Beros; four step-grandchildren, Stephan Manchir, Jon Manchir (Maria), Chris Woytko (Richelle), and Adam Woytko (Rebecca); six great-grandchildren, Madeline and Emerson Warren, Amalia and Annabella Manchir, Ryan Woytko and Elijah Woytko; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday (October 16, 2010) from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with mass of Christian burial celebrated on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cambridge. Hospice provided comfort to Mary Lou and her family in the months leading up to her passing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
