Mary Louise (Cain) Hall

Mary Louise Cain Hall, 88, formerly of Quaker City, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday (December 11, 2012) in West Palm Beach FL. Mary was born December 10 1924 at home near Raccoon State Park, Beaver County, Clinton PA. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Pearl (McConnell) Cain of Clinton, PA. She was preceded in death by siblings, Thelma Reckner, Betty Wiles, and Kenny Cain. She graduated from West Allegheny High School of Imperial PA and began work with the PA Railroad in Pittsburgh. After marriage on February 24, 1947 she became a housewife in Georgetown PA. She moved to Confluence PA in 1960 and after her husband's retirement in 1980, moved to Quaker City OH. Mary was a life member of DAR and enjoyed many craft hobbies, Ladies Aid Society, Garden Club and canning fruit and vegetables from her large garden. She was faithful to attend church and supported her husband in service in the church and community. Mary enjoyed being a snowbird from Quaker City OH to Sebring FL for twenty-five years. She is survived by her husband, Irving C Hall; children, Fred A Hall and wife Nancy of Pisgah Forest NC, Martha Landau and husband Cal of Palm Beach FL, and Bill Grimes and wife Laura of Clarksville TN; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Rooker of Imboden AR; and a brother, Harold Cain of Clinton PA. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday (December 17, 2012) after the manner of Friends at Richland Friends Cemetery, near Quaker City.
