Mary Sue Chesser, 83, of Dublin, died Monday (December 17, 2018) at The Convalarium at Indian Run, Dublin.
She was born January 7, 1935 in Glenville WV, daughter of the late Lester Davidson and Mary (Reed) Davidson.
A graduate of Glenville State College, Mrs. Chesser was a retired teacher and a former employee of the Cambridge Developmental Center.
She was a member of New Concord United Methodist Church. She was a church organist at the Prince of Peace Methodist Church in Cincinnati for several years. She was always serving others.
She was a good cook, but preferred dining out when given the opportunity.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chesser, who died January 24, 2008. They had been married for forty-six years.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Chesser of Akron and Jeffrey (& Kris) Chesser of Westerville; a daughter, Nancy Chesser of Columbus; and a sister, Ruth Ann Baker of Bedford PA.
Visitation will be held Friday (December 21, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Wilson of The Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church of Westerville officiating.
Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
