Mary Hardy Helsel

Mary Hardy Helsel, 58, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday (February 11, 2009) at her home. She was born on August 22, 1950 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Louis Hardy and Freda (Hook) Hardy. Mrs. Helsel was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; and a brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband, Donald Helsel of the home, whom she married on November 25, 1993; two step-sons, Jeremy Helsel of Port Washington and Jeremy Belt of Port Washington; three brothers, Raymon Hardy Jr., William (& Brenda Batten) Hardy and Roy (& Barb Hudson) Hardy all of Cambridge; four sisters, Janet Hardy of Cambridge, Beverly (& Eugene) McKim of Cambridge, Susie (& Richard) McKim of Cambridge and Sandy Hardy of Scio; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Louie, Blake, Aaron, Cortney, William, Cassie and Jessi; and several cousins, nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (February 17, 2009) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
