Mary Frances Mcmasters

Mary Frances McMasters, 76, of Byesville, died Friday (January 12, 2007) at Castle Nursing Home, Millersburg. She was born December 15, 1930 in Ninevah PA, daughter of the late Edward J. Shaw and Dorothy F. (VanMarte) Shaw. Ms. McMasters was a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Byesville. She was also a member of the Golden 60's. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lorena Anderson; a half-sister, Margaret Swan; and a half-brother, Clarence Shaw. She leaves two sons, Chuckie Renner of Pennsylvania and Randy McMasters of Guernsey OH; four daughters, Arlene Dureskey and Marlene Hixon both of Pennsylvania, Diane Hursey of Byesville and Phyllis Conollon of Newcomerstown; two brothers, Edward Shaw of New York and Richard Shaw of Pennsylvania; a sister, Dorothy Anderson of Pennsylvania; nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (January 16, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joe Summers officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
