Mary Eulalia (Medley) Ruby

Mary (Medley) Ruby, 102, of Hurricane, WV, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Genesis Putnam Center.

She was born May 26, 1920, in Guernsey County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Martin and Wilma Sarchet Medley.

Mary was a Laborer at Fabric Stores. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, reading books, word puzzles, and loved everything fabric.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Ruby, whom she married on June 1, 1941, and passed away in 2015, he owned Cambridge Monuments. Also preceding her in death is her daughter, Janet Smith, and her four sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce (Ralph) Clark, of Hurricane, West Virginia.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge. Interment will be held at Northwood Cemetery.
