Mary Martha Polascak, 94, of Cambridge, died Thursday (August 31, 2017) at Beckett House at New Concord. She was born March 12, 1923 in Lore City, daughter of the late Rufus Fogle and Elta May (Rich) Fogle. Mrs. Polascak was a cook at Cambridge High School for many years and a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing music with her husband. She attended Freedom Worship Chapel. Her faith was in Jesus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Polascak, who died June 15, 2009. They were married March 24, 1945. Also deceased are three brothers, Clyde, Miley, and Veryl Fogle; and a sister, Evelyn Stillions. She is survived by a son, Donald (& Donna) Polascak of Cambridge; a grandson, Jason (& Chantel) Polascak of Dublin; and two great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Bella both of Dublin. Visitation will be held Tuesday (September 5, 2017) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Glass officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge.
