Mary Ellen (Ransom) Mack

Mary Ellen (Ransom) Mack, 93, of Fort Worth, TX passed away Saturday (May 4, 2013) at the home of her daughter Janet Mack. Mrs. Mack was born September 11, 1919 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Hannah (Quarles) Mack. Mary Ellen was a homemaker, Pentecostal by faith and cooking was her passion. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her ex-husband Alfred Mack; one sister Juanita Flowers and an aunt Bernice Fisher. She is survived by two sons, Donald (Tina) Mack of Fort Worth and Mike (Phyllis) Mack of Canal Winchester; one daughter Janet Mack of Fort Worth; two brothers, Forrest Quarles and Bill (Cindy) Quarles both of Cambridge; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Friday from 10 - 12 at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Randolph White officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
