Mary Ann Secrest Hudson, 53, of Cambridge, died Thursday (March 8, 2012) at The Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus. She was born November 5, 1958 in Cambridge, daughter of Edward and Norma (Dingus) Secrest. Mary Ann owned and operated D & K Carwash and Appalachian Well Surveys Inc. She also worked at Secrest Disposal for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard & Alice Dingus and Edward & Rosa Secrest. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan Hudson of Cambridge; two sons, Kenneth Moore Jr. of Cambridge and Donald Moore of Cambridge; her parents, Edward and Norma Secrest of Cambridge; a brother, Edward (& Lee Ann) Secrest of Cambridge; two sisters, Dolly Arnold of Cambridge and Janet "Buck" (& Edward) Morrow of Cambridge; six nephews, Edward Secrest, William Arnold Jr., Edward Morrow, Jon Secrest, Ted Morrow, and Thomas Arnold all of Cambridge; two nieces, Jennifer Arnold of North Carolina and Jessica Secrest of Cambridge; a great-nephew, Bladen Secrest; a great-niece, Dahlia Menoromas of North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Suellen (& Dennis) Johnson of Cambridge and Marianne Morris of Texas; four nephews, Cory Johnson of Cambridge, Cale (& Holly) Johnson of Cambridge, Eric (& Tammy) Morris of Texas, and Mike Morris of Texas; and a niece, Amy Sue (& Jeff) Steiner of Texas. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (March 14, 2012) at 2 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating.
