Mary A. Shipley

Mary A. Shipley, 60, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (November 9, 2016) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born August 25, 1956 in Santa Maria CA, daughter of the late Donald LaGrange and Bertha Charlene (Jones) LaGrange. Mrs. Shipley had worked as a telesales operator for Ameridial. She was Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed raising goats, camping, fishing, and gardening. Mrs. Shipley was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jamie Kaiser and Dustin Knight; and a granddaughter, Arica Kaiser. She is survived by her husband, Gary A. Shipley of the home; a son, Craig (& Tiffany) Kaiser of Columbus GA; two stepdaughters, Heather D. Harper of Buffalo and Leesha M. Neff of Cambridge; three brothers, D.C. LaGrange of Zanesville, Omie (& Marie) LaGrange of Jacksonville FL, and Jim (& Sherry) LaGrange of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, Cossandra Kaiser (& Chelsa Dovenberger), Ryan Roberts, Daisy Blanton, Ashley Blanton, Madison Blanton, Tony Harper, Cody Harper, Lillianna Neff, and Logan Neff; and her stepfather, Larry Holmes of Salem Alabama. Visitation will be held Monday (November 14, 2016) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
