Mary Evelyn Simpson, 76, formerly of Cambridge, died Friday (March 4, 2011) at Aultman Hospital of Canton. She was born February 25, 1935 in Fulda, daughter of the late Simon J. Warner and Eleanore Catherine (Hohman) Warner. Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church (Christ Our Light Parish) of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Simpson; a daughter, Roberta Weber; and a sister, Frieda Cisar. She is survived by a son, Bruce Simpson of Coshocton; three sisters, Beatrice Geiger of New Albany, Dorothy Lynn of Byesville, and Esther Remerowski of Canton; and four grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (March 8, 2011) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Chester Pabin officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge.
