Mary Rose Stevens, 84, of Cambridge passed away Friday (December 3, 2010) at her home. She was born January 19, 1926 in Fostoria and was the daughter of the late Herbert Franklin and Mary Ellen (Smith) Groves. Mrs. Stevens retired as manager from New Day Manor. She was a member of Harmony Christian Church. She also raised and groomed poodles. She often stated that she had a happy and full life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Paul Abrams whom she married January 2, 1946 and passed away June 5, 1978; second husband, Harry W. Seibert whom she married in 1985 and passed away in 1992; third husband, George Stevens whom she married May 2, 1992 and passed away January 1, 2007; a son Jack Abrams passed away September 8, 2006; a daughter Christina passed away June 10, 1948; two great grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Frederick (Riki) Abrams and Kenneth (Margee) Abrams, both of Cambridge; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren; also several step children and step nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Vernon Barrell officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Christian Cemetery with a luncheon to follow the committal service at Harmony Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
