Mauvienne J. Ward

Mauvienne J. Ward, 86, of Cambridge, died Friday (November 13, 2015) at The Beckett House at New Concord. She was born June 26, 1929 in Uhrichsville, daughter of the late Russell B. Murray and Lottie H. (Thornton) Murray. Mrs. Ward retired from the former Bargain City, where she had been a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 211 and a former 4-H advisor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ward; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by a son, Terry R. Ward of Cambridge; a daughter, Tonya K. Bowman of Byesville; four grandchildren, Stacey Ward, Samantha Ward, Skylar Rae Ward, and Melissa Bowman; and two great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
