Melanie Dawn (Jones) Bolyard

Melanie Dawn Bolyard, 61, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (August 3, 2010) at SEORMC. She was born December 17, 1948 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Dr. Beryl "Jack" and Martha "Marti" (Bankes) Jones D.D.S. Melanie was a 1966 graduate of Cambridge High School and earned her dental hygienist degree from the Ohio State University and later worked at the family dental practice. She was a member of Church of Christ at 10th and Clairmont for many years and was currently a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ. She enjoyed God, spending time with her family and music. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bolyard whom she married July 19, 1969 and passed away in 2006 a sister, Bobbi Jones. She is survived by two sons, Jay (Cali) Bolyard of Winchester, CA., where he is serving in the U.S.Navy, and Bryan (Sarah) Bolyard of Dublin; one brother, Dr. Beryl K. Jones II of Cambridge; one sister, Jackie Siegfried of Denver, CO.; five grandchildren, Ellie, Brady, Sophie, Ben and Luke. Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday (August 12, 2010) at Stop Nine Church of Christ with Evan. Woody Biggs officiating.
