Melissa A. Sasser

Melissa A. Sasser, 47, of Cambridge, died Friday (January 30, 2015) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge. She was born February 22,1967 in Cambridge, daughter of Evelyn (Cramblett) Greenwalt. Mrs. Sasser was a 1984 graduate of The Cambridge Christian School. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn (Cramblett) Greenwalt of Cambridge; her husband, Terry Sasser, whom she married February 14, 2010; a son, Dale Allen Stewart of Senecaville; two daughters, Michelle (Tony) Walls of Cambridge and Kayla Stewart of Cambridge; two brothers, Michael Ray Greenwalt of Cambridge and Donald Lee Greenwalt of Cambridge; a sister, Sharon Ann (George) Rocker of Cambridge; four grandchildren, Makenzie Godwin, Adian Doherty, Alissa Doherty and Aarika Walker; and an aunt, Bonnie Kiggins of Cambridge. Visitation will be Wednesday (February 4, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Burial will follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
