Melody E. Crossan, 67, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (September 11, 2018) at her home.
She was born May 18, 1951 in Zanesville, daughter of Geraldine Carlin Wallin.
Mrs. Crossan had worked at the former Cambridge State Hospital for twenty-five years as a TPW.
She was a former member of the Sweet Adelines and attended the Salvation Army Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Crossan and a daughter, Angela Nolan.
She is survived by her mother, Geraldine Wallin of Dayton; her children, Elly Elerick, Tammy (& Bill) Engle, and James Crossan all of Cambridge; three brothers, Jay (& Claire) Wallin of Columbus, Malvin (& Tammy) Wallin of Utah, and Warren (& Suzanne) Wallin of Dayton; two sisters, Victoria Ryan of Springboro and Kitty Wallin of Dayton; and six grandchildren, Hailee, Landon, Courtney, Kenny, Bryan, and Selena.
Visitation will be held Friday (September 14, 2018) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating.
Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, at a later date.
