Melvin E. King Sr.

Melvin Eugene King Sr., 70, of Cambridge, died Sunday (June 1, 2008) at his home. He was born on September 21, 1937 in Cambridge, son of the late Roy King and Juanita (Bennett) King. He married Patricia Ann (Ball) King on August 30, 1958. Mr. King was a ward attendant at the former Cambridge State Hospital. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, who died on May 24, 2007; and a sister, Gail. He leaves a son, Melvin (& Robin) King Jr.; four daughters, Denise Mackley, Christine Roberts, Debra, and Tonya Petesch; two sisters, Wanda Graham and Lois Vaughn; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time.
