Michael Bradford "Brad" Waldron, 41, of Cambridge, died Sunday (July 29, 2012) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born March 11, 1971 in Columbus, son of Michael Waldron and June (Wheatley) Waldron. Mr. Waldron was a technician at Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. Mr. Waldron was a 1989 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was a member of the Cambridge Fraternal Order of the Moose 631; Kipling VFW Post 7371; and the Wellston American Legion Post 371. He was a US Navy veteran, having served during Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Nell Wheatley; and his paternal grandmother, Carrie Waldron. He is survived by his mother, June (Wheatley) Waldron of Wellston; his father, Michael Waldron of Florida; three half-brothers, Matt, Noah, and Jake; four half-sisters, Melanie, Carrie, Kim, and Holly; his paternal grandfather, Windy Waldron of McArthur; three uncles, David, Gary, and Tim Wheatley; an aunt, Annette Waldron; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (July 31, 2012) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Additional calling hours will be held on Wednesday (August 1, 2012) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McWilliams Funeral Home, Wellston, where funeral services will be held on Thursday (August 2, 2012) at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Wellston, with military graveside honors conducted by the Wellston American Legion Post 371. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Brad's name may be made to one of the following organizations: 1) Wellston American Legion Post 371, 1001 South Pennsylvania Ave, Wellston OH 45692; or 2) American Diabetes Association, 471 E Broad St, Suite 1630, Columbus OH 43215.
