Michael "Mikey" Gene Rogers

Michael Gene "Mikey" Rogers, 24, of Salesville, died Wednesday (August 31, 2016) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born August 3, 1992 in Cambridge, son of Sam Rogers and Misty (Kehl) McFadyen. This special boy blessed our lives for twenty-four wonderful years and was taken too soon. He will always be loved by every life he touched. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also liked watching football. He is survived by his parents, Sam (& Yolanda) Rogers of Cambridge and Misty (& Tom) McFadyen of Salesville; his grandparents, Betty Rogers - who was also his caregiver, Mike Rogers, Barbara Morgan, Donald Kehl, and Linda Perryman; his siblings, Ashley Rogers, Sammy Rogers, Alyza Rogers, and Heather McFadyen; his step-siblings, Tommy McFadyen, Tamara McFadyen, and Stephanie McFadyen; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Tuesday (September 6, 2016) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Peoples Bank in Benefit of Michael Rogers, 845 Wheeling Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
