Michael T Spilker

Michael T. Spilker, 59, of Cambridge, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Michael was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He had many great joys, from cruising the Caribbean, to a family cookout, tucking in for a good movie, or reading his latest western on the back porch, serenaded by his collection of wind chimes. He loved the outdoors and earned a Degree of Natural Resources from Hocking College in 1994. 

An always faithful Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State fan; he loved cheering on his favorite teams. He enjoyed painting, oldies music (always listening to Willie’s Roadhouse or reminiscing with the crooners), and model cars. In his youth, he marched with a tuba, was notoriously ornery, a surveyor like his father before him, and quite the ladies' man. 

He was preceded in death by and deeply looked forward to reuniting with his dear parents Joseph and Shirley Spilker. 

Many happy years did he spend with his loving wife, Brenda Spilker, who he leaves behind, along with his sisters Melody (Daniel) Brown and Monique Spilker, daughters Keely (Tyler) Bond, Katie (Kyle) Kvochick, and Shelby Spilker, and grandchildren Walker, Gannon, Helen, and Everett Bond, and Mia Kvochick, as well as nephews Brandon and Cameron Cornelius, Nathaniel and Nicholas Brown. 

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. He will be dearly missed.
