Michael R. Sunnafrank

Michael R. Sunnafrank, age 53, passed away Sunday (August 15, 2021) at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family.

He is the son of Marilyn (McKimmie) Sunnafrank and Larry Michael Sunnafrank. He is the father to Dillon Sunnafrank and step-daughter Amber Nealey. He graduated from John Glenn High School in 1985 and then attended Ohio University.

Michael was a Farrier and avid horsemen. He enjoyed riding horses, but his most precious time was spent watching his son participate in sports. Michael was a 4-H advisor for many years, and was always active in his son's activities.

Michael will be greatly missed by his family, longtime friends, the barrel racing community, and his faithful companion and beloved dog Jasper.

No calling hours will be observed. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers there will be a 4-H scholarship awarded annually in Michael's memory. Donations will be accepted later at his celebration of life.
