Michael James Wells

Michael James Wells, 28, of Cambridge, died Saturday (January 6, 2018).

He was born January 27, 1989 in Cambridge, son of Jamie Martin Wells and Lisa (Voorhies) Wells.

Mr. Wells was an oil field worker. He attended Cambridge High School.

He enjoyed fishing and riding four-wheelers. He loved being with his children. He will be loved and missed by his family.

He attended the Freedom Worship Center.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Nancy Wells and Brenda & Merritt Voorhies.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Wells of Cambridge; his father, Jamie Wells of Cambridge; a son, Connor Michael Wells of Cambridge; two daughters, Chelsey Sue Wells and Caylee Marie Wells both of Cambridge; the mother of his children, Taylor Valentine; a sister, Melanie (& Justin) Ingram of Byesville; two nieces, Breann Ingram and Lillian Ingram; his grandmother, Connie (& Arnold) Williams; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (January 10, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Glass officiating.
