Michelle Lynn Duke

Michelle Lynn Duke, 49, of Zanesville, died Monday (December 10, 2018) at Genesis following complications from surgery.

She was born August 9, 1969 in Cleveland, daughter of Michael Duke and Mary Jean (Morse) Duke.

Miss Duke worked for the City of Zanesville for twenty-five years and was the jail administrator. She was a member of the F.O.P. of Zanesville.

She earned her associate's degree from Zane State in police science & corrections.

Miss Duke was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her parents, Michael and Mary Jean Duke of Cambridge; a son, Justice Darieen "J.D." Duke of Zanesville; a sister, Melissa (& Bob) Eddy of Quaker City; her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Andrew, Emily, and Jersey; and her great-niece, Pasilee.

Visitation will be held Thursday (December 13, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Father Paul Hrezo officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
