Michelle Lee (Stout) Campbell

Michelle Lee (Stout) Campbell, 51, of Blacklick, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.

She was born December 15, 1970, in Cambridge, Ohio, a daughter of Loren Stout of Newcomerstown and the late Lois (McConkey) Stout.

Michelle was a Pampered Chef Consultant, an army spouse, and a worldwide military Mom. She enjoyed cooking crocheting, spending time with her family, singing, and being The boss. Michelle was a Methodist Christian by faith. She graduated Cambridge High School and Mid-East's Cosmeotology program in 1989.

Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by, her grandmother, Wilma McConkey, her uncle Ed McConkey, her niece Ariel Stout, her nephew Gaven Carlisle, her stepmother Kathryn Stout and Ruth Alexander.

She is survived by her husband Donald G Campbell Jr "DJ", whom she married July 14, 2001, her son Steven (& Sam Carrel) Campbell of Blacklick, her brother CJ Stout of Port Washington, James Heid of New Philadelphia, her sisters Jennifer (& Tom) Poorman of Uhrichsville, Jessica (& Troy) Fuller of New Philadelphia, Amanda (& Randy) Haney of New Philadelphia, Jamie Scherer of New Philadelphia her military family worldwide, extremely close friends and family, her AAFES family, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday, August 5, 2022, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 10AM-1PM, with the service to immediately follow. Pastor Randolph White will be officiating. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge. The family has asked anyone attending the visitation or funeral to wear purple in Michelle's memory. The celebration of life will be Ohio State Buckeyes theme. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Michelle's name to Lifeline of Ohio.
