Mildred J. Dailey

Mildred J. Dailey, 75, of Salesville, died Tuesday (August 13, 2013) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born September 23, 1937 in Byesville, daughter of the late Wilbur Morris and Maude (Atkinson) Morris. Mrs. Dailey was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and making quilts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and David; a sister, Linda Cabert; and two brothers, William and Bob. She is survived by her husband, Donald Dailey of the home; four sons, Edward (& Megan) Dailey of Douglas GA, Robert Lewis Dailey of Byesville, William Dailey of Barnesville, and Richard (& Melissa) Dailey of Barnesville; seven daughters, Sharon Stevens of Kimbolton, Karen (& John) Dailey of Cardington, Louella Dailey of Canton, Judy (& Ted) Teeple of Canton, Christina Whittle of Cambridge, Patricia Dailey of Salesville, and Donna Dailey of Salesville; a brother, Jim Morris of Cambridge; a sister, Hazel Ayers of Pleasant City; twenty-five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Friday (August 16, 2013) at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
