Mildred L. Orahoske

Mildred L. "Millie" Orahoske, 85, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (January 8, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1927 in Sandyville WV, daughter of the late Charles W. Owens and Jessie (Murray) Owens. Mrs. Orahoske was a homemaker. She had also worked at Salt Fork State Park Lodge. She was a 1945 graduate of Gilmore High School of West Virginia. Mrs. Orahoske was a member of Christ Our Light Parish - St. Benedict Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Orahoske, who died February 5, 2005. They were married on June 12, 1948. She also had three brothers who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Dennis (& Kathy) Orahoske of Cambridge; a daughter, Denise (& Hank) Evans of North Canton; four grandchildren, Benjamin (& Vanetta) Mast of Wooster, Andy (& Amber) Orahoske of Cincinnati, Laura Orahoske of Columbus, and Jacob Orahoske of Columbus; and two great-grandchildren, Alexa Mast and Marc Mast. Family and friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge. Mass of Christian burial will celebrated on Friday (January 11, 2013) at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Orahoske's name to Christ Our Light Parish - St. Benedict Catholic Church, 701 Gomber Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
