Mildred Grace Wright-Mahand

Mildred Grace Wright-Mahand, 80, of New Concord, died Friday (September 18, 2015) at Greystone Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge. She was born June 24, 1935 in Millersport, daughter of the late LeRoy Mohler and Mary Francis (Meckling) Mohler. Mrs. Wright-Mahand was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagles and Moose of Cambridge. She attended the Good Shepherd Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett Levi Wright; her second husband, Robert Mahand; five brothers, Jim, Omie, Dick, Frank, and Chuck; and three sisters, Louise Freeman, Toni Wheeler, and Linda Hollins. She is survived by a son, Everett L. (& Tina) Wright of Senecaville; four daughters, Mary (& John) Huffstutler of Cambridge, Rose Wright (& Eddie Umphries) of Cambridge, Margie (& Daniel) Neff of Shenandoah Junction WV, and Becky Wright (& James Peterson) of Cambridge; a brother, John (& Amy) Mohler of New Concord; a sister, Emma Hosey of Cambridge; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and her close companion, Russell Watson. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Thursday (September 24, 2015) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White and Pastor Jeff Leonard officiating. Burial will be at Center Cemetery.
