Mitchell Lee Grabans

Mitchell Lee Grabans, 73, of Cambridge, passed away at his home under Hospice care on Wednesday (April 13, 2016). He was born June 30, 1942 in Powhatan Point, son of the late Michael Grabans and Marjorie (Barlow) Grabans. Mr. Grabans was a retired tavern owner. He was a life member of DAV Chapter #28 and a life member of Cambridge VFW post #2901. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a close friend and business partner of many years, Aileen "Ace" Conner. He is survived by several cousins and close friends, many of whom were his hunting and fishing buddies. They will miss his big smile and good humor. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 20, 2016) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
