Mollie Mae O'Connor

Mollie Mae O'Connor, 62, of Cambridge, died Sunday (March 24, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born August 16, 1950 in Bluefield WV, daughter of the late Gernal Byrd and Franices (Harold) Byrd. She was Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Byrd and Sonny Byrd; and a sister, Gail Speakman. She is survived by a son, Steven (& Clara) O'Connor of Cambridge; a daughter, Cathy O'Connor (& Hershell Waugh Jr.) of Cambridge; two sisters, Mary (& Steve) Vance of North Carolina and Rosa (& James) Perry of Virginia; three grandchildren, Rick (& Davanna) Drake, Jeff DiBlasio II, and Cierra Waugh; a great-grandchild, Maurice Drake; and several nieces, nephews, & cousins. Family and friends may call on Friday (March 29, 2013) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. No funeral services will be held at this time.
