Myrna June Sinfield

Myrna June Sinfield, 82, of Cambridge, died Saturday (June 11, 2011) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born October 28, 1928 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Darwin Ekey and Elizabeth (DeVore) Ekey. Mrs. Sinfield was a teacher at Wintersville High School for many years. She was a 1954 graduate of Muskingum College. Mrs. Sinfield was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berl J. Sinfield; and two brothers, Darwin Ekey Jr. and Merle Ekey. She is survived by a son, Timothy (& Pamela) Sinfield of Pleasant City; a daughter, Carol Sinfield-Pastor of Cambridge; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Saturday (June 18, 2011) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Spain officiating. Burial will be at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove OH.
